Madisyn Zegarelli '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! 

My name is Madisyn Zegarelli and I am a Junior at Jefferson Forest High School. Cheerleading has been a part of my life since I was four years old. I have recently taken a break from my traveling All Star Teams so I can focus on my education & pursue my dream of becoming a Collegiate Athlete.

I have traveled across the country with All Stars & have won numerous championships at all levels including Worlds. This is my second year as the Captain of our Varisty Football Sideline & Basketball Teams. In the past 3yrs I have had the honor of being selected for First Team All District , All Region & was also selected for First Team All State. And received the highest award for the past 3yrs by being selected as an NCA All American Cheerleader & was invited to represent our school at Disney for the Holiday Parade. Currently I hold a position on our schools Competition Cheerleading Team & the Track Team; where I placed second at Regions in the 4x100, 100 & 200 races.

I am enrolled in the early Nursing Program, take multiple college & AP courses at school & my goal is to pursue a career in the Nursing field with hopes to work on a Neonatal Unit as a Traveling Nurse. I am a dedicated student and athlete that puts 110% efforts in all that I do. In my spare time I enjoy lifting weights, working on my tumbling, and volunteering. Being apart of a college cheer team is truly a dream to me. Cheer has been such a huge part of my life that has molded me into the person and athlete I am today. I am forever grateful that God has used me as a vessel to share my knowledge and passion with others. I thrive on learning new skills and being better then I was yesterday. Cheerleading is so much more to me than "just a sport", it's family, it's commitment, it's the community, and it's memories that will last a life time.
