Hello, my name is Kara Applegate. I have been doing sideline and comp cheer for school since 8th grade, I was a level 9 gymnast before. When I found a different type of happiness within cheer, I fell in love and became determined to make it. goal of mine to be a college cheerleader ever since. I have had experience with moving across seas twice, which has allowed me to develop social and environmental skills that are very important to me and my character as a person and an athlete. Switching teams so many times has allowed me to connect with and experience different types of coaches and teammates. I am a very flexible athlete, and change and compromise are things I am very used to. I have all girl stunting experience and little co-ed stunting experience, which I am currently working on. I am very determined and would greatly appreciate a chance to use my abilities to become an amazing D1 all girl or co-ed flyer and cheerleader. I am able to learn very fast, and comprehend helpful criticism promptly. I am a very lively girl, and plan to major in Agro business. Being apart of a college team and program means a lot to me as a student and athlete because not only do we all get to share our love and passion for cheer, but we also feel apart of something much more! A family, a commitment, and memories to last the rest of our lives. With moving so much, this is something I strive for everybody to feel and appreciate in an athletic or academic environment.
