I have been a cheerleader for 13 years, so I love it and am passionate about this amazing sport. With almost 10 years of competitive cheer experience at Connect Cheer NW, and being a 4 year varsity cheerleader and team captain at Redmond High School, I am proud to have contributed as much time and work that I have to this sport. In college I would like to further my experience as a student athlete and keep pushing myself for new, exciting challenges. I am very team-oriented and like to learn new ways to improve whether it be academically or athletically based on advice my teammates, coaches, and peers.
I am going to school to major in musical performance and production and hopefully be on the creative side of making music in the future. This is a very competitive major, but with the composure and lessons I have learned from being a cheerleader, I feel ready to take on the challenges that may be presented in this field and in college.
I would love to cheer more in college and learn more about what this sport has to offer for collegiate student athletes!
