As a senior at Redmond HS in WA, with a 3.6 GPA to his credit, Khalid plays Boys Varsity Tennis (#1 doubles & #5 singles player). He dreams of one day taking his game and education to an academically strong college campus as a student athlete. Redmond HS is in King County, WA. The District decided to play a shortened tennis season this year (7 matches in all)
Khalid finished the 2021 Season with a Doubles record of 4-2 and a Singles record of 0-1 (with that loss coming against the top team).
While Khalid showed vast improvement in his game, his game thrives off of his strong serve. This year his won/loss record literally tracks with matches where he was able to land his first serve verses matches when he missed with his "fast ball" so to speak.
Khalid has all of the physical attributes to be an asset to most college tennis programs, especially if paired with the right coach to help him with landing that powerful serve and grow on the strategy side of the game. If you are that coach, he can definitely help your program win.
Khalid's hobbies include working out, playing the guitar, making short films, learning to code, as well as, playing video games with his family and friends to unwind... and, of course, playing tennis.
