I have been a competitive gymnast for 13 years. Through gymnastics I have learned the meaning of hard work, perseverance, disappointment, and joy for myself and others. In addition to gymnastics (Maverick Gymnastics) I cheer for my high school and plan to continue to run track in the spring (hurdles and sprints).
I attend Charleston Catholic High School in Charlesto, WV, where academics is rigorous with mostly honor and AP courses available. I have learned time management skills by balancing my academic career with athletics and social life. Competitive gymnastics requires 20+ hours a week of training. I spent grade eleven in Kaiserslautern, Germany where I made a team (Gymfinty International) and competed USAG, NRB, and FIG. I was awarded their "Excellent Leadership" award. I was inducted into National Honor Society.
My career goals include environmental science and law school. I wish to attend a school where I can pursue athletics and academics and make more lifelong memories. I enjoy working as a team member and am always working to improve myself.
