Field hockey has become my absolute passion and outlet where all of my problems dissolve. I am a driven player and always strive to become better. Whenever I see a new skill I want to learn, I will practice it until perfection no matter how long it takes or how hard it might be. I am also very competitive, I will rise to any challenge no matter how big or small. Along with my competitive nature, I am a team player. I know the only way to truly succeed is to work cohesively as one unit. I also understand that in order to achieve this sense of team camaraderie you must and expand on other players talents, not just your own; know your teammate's strong suits and accentuate them, don't discount them for your own personal gain. I believe that this makes me a leader both on and off the field, I was even the Junior Varsity captain my sophomore year due to my natural drive and leadership traits. I have also participated in many leadership courses both in school and outside of school, and if there is one common overlap, it is the need to listen and understand. Whatever team I play on, I establish a personal connection with every player and bring the team closer together. This benefits both my play and understanding of the team, as well as the team's overall game. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC96n9NYXv7NgsFdLP3krRkA
