Personal Statement
Hello coaches! My name is Mehek Saini and i’m part of the class of 2026. Field hockey is my favorite sport and I’ve played ever since I was 7. I am a super dependable and coachable player/teammate and I always bring a positive attitude to practice. I usually play defense but can also push up to midfield, depending on what benefits the team best. While my high school doesn’t have a field hockey team, I do play club year round. I play for Lightning Youth Field Hockey club and am on the u16/u19 team and I am a starter. Academics are also super important to me. I always strive to maintain the best grades possible and take all my classes very seriously. I love everything about field hockey and would love to continue playing at a college level.
