I have committed to University of Rochester for the fall 2018 semester. I'm very excited to attend Rochester and pray for the field hockey team
.“I would be honored!” That was my response when asked to join the Premier Travel Team for our area. I am turf trained and play on a Boys U-18, Girls U-17 and D-1 teams, but being selected for the top level team is special for me.
I love the game of Field hockey and have been playing since I was 4 years old. 12 years later I am a 5’5”, 105 lbs. forward/midfielder known for speed, agility, and scoring. To play this great sport with team mates committed to giving their best and doing it at the college level is something I’ve dreamed about for years.
My college plans are to become an engineer so I can help people. Bio-medical or environmental engineering are my current areas of interest and feel both would support people and make a difference.
Off the field, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I volunteer extensively in our community and have been a Girl Scout for 11 years. I and am currently working on my Gold Award which is outfitting a classroom in Costa Rica with much needed school supplies.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field and be part of a great team. Combining engineering and field hockey at a high competitive level looks like a dream come true to me.
