Emily Curtis '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Emily Curtis, 17 years old, originally from England and now living in Cheshire, USA  since August 2020. Whilst living in England I used to play For stratford Upon-Avon Ladies 1st and 2nd team. My preferred position is Midfield as I love to constantly be moving and supporting the offense but also coming back and closing down the opposition attackers. I played through various age groups with the Stratford upon-Avon Hockey Club over the last five  years and prior to this I was an active athlete with the Stratford-upon-Avon Athletics Team for 6 years again through the various age groups. My main events for the team were the 100m sprint and Javelin and I was selected to represent the team in many competitions but then found my passion for  Field hockey and that became my main priority. Having been at Cheshire High school for the last 4 weeks and practicing with the team I was selected and now play for the Cheshire field hockey Varsity team.

My aim is to play hockey at College whilst studying a sports related topic with my primary focus being physical therapy.
