Ava Wacha '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is Ava Wacha and I’m in the graduating class of 2024. I am a starting right back for Fairfield Warde High School’s varsity field hockey team. I also play varsity lacrosse and golf for my school. Athletically, I’m looking for a competitive team where I can continue to grow and contribute at a higher level. I am a very determined person and put forth my best effort no matter what I’m doing in the classroom or on the field.

I have great leadership skills and pride myself on setting good examples for other people. Also, I have strong field hockey IQ and field sense as a defender. Two things that everyone can control are maximum effort and communication, both of which I consistently demonstrate. I always put in the time outside of practice to work on skills I want to improve upon.
