Margaret Ward '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Margaret Ward and I am in the graduating class of 2026. I currently start as a forward on the Fairfield Warde High School Varsity Field Hockey team. I also play Midfield and Defense which has helped me fully develop my game. Field hockey is a huge part of my life; I have been playing since I was in third grade. The sport has helped me learn important life lessons and develop key life skills. While playing at the collegiate level I hope to gain a trusting community which I have loved to be a part of since I was 8 years old as well as continue to develop my skills as a player and to grow as a person. During my freshman and sophomore years I have been involved in the DECA Business Club and I have been certified in CPR and First Aid. Over the past four years I’ve raised over $4,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and I also volunteer for the youth field hockey league in my town coaching and refereeing.
