Emilia Kozeracki '22 Recruiting Profile

I would be a good candidate for your team, because I wasn't always considered the star athlete. It never came easy to me but I conditioned myself and worked harder than anyone else. I was always the one after practice running extra mileage, staying later in the gym, or pushing myself to run with the seniors. Starting from the bottom I worked my way up to #1 on the varsity team. I am not discouraged by failure, it only fuels to me to be better, and stronger, and faster. 

This characteristic shows through in my everyday life. I never compare myself to the people around me, I set a standard for myself and try to reach it because every person has different aspirations and goals. Success to me means challenging myself everyday, whether it's in AP classes or on the track. While track is so important to me I do have many other passions including  the environment, health, politics, music and so much more. I am looking for a school that will challenge and nurture my desire for self growth in every aspect of my life.
