Welcome, my name is Carly-Anna Barba but my preference is Carly. I am currently 17 and will turn 18 March 9th. I am heading into my senior year of high school at Daniel Hand in Madison Connecticut. After my last year of high school is complete, I would love to continue my field hockey career in college. Field hockey means a great deal to me because it taught me certain life lessons and pushed me to be better than I was. Since freshman year I have had many ups and downs but through it all, field hockey took my mind away from it all. I am hoping that someone will give me the opportunity to grow my field hockey and myself along with it.
I am hoping to find a a program that will be a great fit academically and athletically for me. I value my education and my experience as an athlete. I feel that I would be a great asset to any college team because during practice and game time I play hard and look for ways to improve. I think of myself as a leader and I believe in giving my coaches, the team, and my teachers the best I can every day. As a two high intensity sports athlete, I know I have what it takes to compete at the college level and be a positive team leader.
Thank you!
