I didn’t start playing field hockey until freshman year of high school, as it is a new sport in my town. The moment I started playing I fell in love with it because of the games fast pace, the challenging aspect and the competitive environment. My first two years of high school my focus was on playing basketball in college, but as I kept playing field hockey, I worked hard and improved greatly as did my love and passion for the game. I feel as if I am just getting started and do not want to give up this sport. My goals for college now are to study business at a high-academic school while being part of a competitive field hockey team.
