I have been interested in track for my whole life and began running in 7th grade. I always wanted to run at college and prove that I can be one of the best.
Track has taught me a lot about myself and I have learned that you need to work for everything in life. Track helped me realize this because if you don't practice or train hard you will not improve and wont be as good as the competition.
In school I maintain a high GPA and focus on my classes. I am in mostly honors and AP classes including a UCONN physics class. I work as hard during school as I do track. I hope to study earth sciences in college and continue my education at a high level.
I am very hardworking and never cut corners. I think I can be a great asset to a college track team and hope to compete at the highest level.
