Hello coaches! My name is Lily Bialack, I am from Shepaug Valley High School in the graduating class of 2026. I began my field hockey journey in 6th grade, immediately having a passion for the sport. Over the past couple of years my love for field hockey has grown, making my goal to continue field hockey beyond high school. I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year for Shepaug as a center forward. During the offseason, I play for AIM Athletes in Newtown, CT as a forward. Adding on to this I play softball in the spring as a varsity starter, too. Field hockey is one of my priorities, I am always training and striving to be a better player every day. Playing this sport has made me a better person, it taught me how to be a team player and leader. Also from playing, I discovered having a good mindset can change a lot too, which has been a big focus for our team throughout this year. I have good sportsmanship and always looking to uplift the team whenever my teammates are down. I also consist of maintaining honor roll throughout the year, on top of playing a sport all 3 seasons. Concluding of A's and B's, I have a 3.8/4.0 GPA. I contribute to my town by volunteering my time at the local camp, making 91 hours up to this date. I don't necessarily have a complete idea yet of what I want to do as a future job but something in the medical or business field. Field hockey has given me a family of teammates and coaches that are always there to help. Looking into furthering my academic and athletic career, I would love to play field hockey at any division level. Please consider me on your team as I am a positive, hard-working, and optimistic player.
