Juana Gonzalez Peyru '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Juana Gonzalez Peyru and I am a 2024 student-athlete, currently playing for Doral Field Hockey in Miami, FL. I have been playing field hockey since I was 4 years old, and I wish to continue playing in college. My dream is to play at the Olympics with the U.S team, and I wake up every morning thinking about what I have to improve and I work hard to achieve it, athletically and academically. I participated in more than 15 US Field Hockey Sanctioned Events, including Field Hockey Showcase, National Field Hockey Festival, Disney Field Hockey Classic, Cal Cup, and several clinics with Luciana Aymar, Mechi Margalot, and Carla Rebechi. (ARG team). I was Team Captain in several seasons, I participated in the Regional Futures Tournament and in the National Futures Championships in 2019. This year I was selected to participate in the Futures Program 2020 - Division 1 at Wake Forest University. I scored 32 goals on my last two tournaments, including Festival and Disney. Academically I am within the top 5 students of my class and I am taking advanced classes.

I may be young to start this process but I have a clear goal, and I am fully committed to achieve it. I hope you will have the opportunity to watch me playing at the National Field Hockey Festival (NC)and Disney Showcase (FL).
