Hi coaches,
My name is Isidora Varas Sanchez, I´m from Chile and I have been playing field hockey since I was 6 years old. I moved from Santiago (Chile) a year ago to Miami FL and I have been playing in the Doral field hockey club ever since.
Field hockey has always been my passion and I´ve done everything in my power to be at the top of my game and achieve my goals. I was on the Chilean national team for 4 years, I played at one of the top three teams in Chile and was captain of my high school team in Chile multiple times.
On the academic side, while being busy with field hockey and other activities I´ve always managed to have excellent grades and because of that I have received multiple awards, some of these are leadership awards, academic excellence, best classmate, and recognition from the teacher´s council. I´m interested in studying medicine, and with that in mind I know I have to keep my grades up and work very hard to be a good professional in the future.
What I´m looking for in a College is a high academic demand to prepare me for the future while still being able to continue doing this sport that has been my passion since I was very young.
