Field hockey has given me a strong work ethic and has shown me how it is possible to achieve goals through dedication. I have been playing field hockey since 6th grade and this will be my fourth year of playing field hockey year-round. It has taught me how to be a team player and has helped me develop valuable leadership skills. In my sophomore fall season, I started on varsity and played defense, a position I had never played before. At first, I struggled with it, but I worked hard and made a ton of improvements. Overall, that experience made me a stronger and more versatile player as I improved my skill set as a whole.
Academics are very important to me as well as I am an extremely diligent student with an average of 97.79. I also am a part of community service clubs like NHS and I am a student dance teacher at my dance studio. I am looking forward to learning more, both as a player and a student, in college.
