Personal Statement

My goals for college is to get to the next level of football and keep pursuing my dream of playing pro, with hard work and a good work ethic I know I can get there.

With that being said I believe in academics, being a student then a athlete and I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.

My backup is criminal justice going into some field of law, with that I'm interested in entering the Federal Bureau of Investigations or some form of higher criminal investigation.

My nickname is Teeth because of my performance and high impact I have on the game on the defensive side, some of my coaches say I'm everywhere on the field and always in on the tackle in some way, shape, or form. I play multiple defensive positions with my most common being Defensive Tackle and Middle Linebacker and I'm the head of the defense. I can find patterns in plays that the opposing team set up, whether its from watching film or figuring it out quickly during the game. With this I am also a leader, taking charge, making call outs during the game and pushing my team to their limits during practice,  "one more rep". On the other side of the ball I play Guard commonly, this is because I am fast enough and strong enough to create plays by run blocking or holding off the defense. I also have experience in many other offensive positions such as Tailback, Tight End, and Center.

What separates me from other recruits is what my priorities are. For example I believe the team is way more important than myself and my football aspirations, and so is getting a good education so I'm able to succeed in life. Building relationships and creating team unity is more important to me than getting highlights or trying to make myself look better than the rest, because there's no "I"  in team right? Academically I'm very vast and love to expand my horizons to collect life skills and more.
