Megan Gordon, One...Personal Statement
Above all, my goal is to help people. After an injury, I discovered that having people I could trust to help rehabilitate me, and who worked quickly to get me back on the field and playing, was the greatest gift I could receive in that situation. My goal is to get my M.D. in pediatric sports medicine so that I can help others return and excel in his/her sporting endeavors.
Field hockey has given me a strong work ethic and has shown me how it is possible to achieve goals through dedication. It has taught me how to be a leader, while continuing to be a team player. I am looking forward to learning more, both as a player and a student, in college.
