Hi, I’m Jamila Mohamed and I am a Junior goalie at Scarborough High School in Maine. I am currently an active member of the Civil Rights team, National Honor Society, and our Varsity field hockey team.I have recently decided I would like to continue my field hockey journey throughout college, and looking for places that align withmy future desires academically. Though I didn’t play my freshman year of high school due to Covid-19, I took that time to improve my personal weaknesses with the sport, and did my best to come back better than before with help from my family, friends, and supportive coaches. I truly enjoy the idea of continuing field hockey into my college years and feel as though I could be a great asset. My academic goals in college are to obtain a degree in cognitive sciences/ neuroscience. With this, I want to use my passion to help people who are in need. All in all, I think I would be a great benefit to a collegiate team and hope you take this into consideration.
