Bailey Simmons '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, Coaches, my name is Bailey Simmons before I fell in love with the game of Field Hockey, I had been playing soccer since I was little it had been the only sport I'd ever known. At least that was true up until my sophomore year when I played Field Hockey for the first time. Walking up to the field my mind was overflowing with emotions of excitement but, the fear of starting a new sport  was staring back at me. Then I began to take a stand and marched on that field never looking back. I guess you could say that my love for the game started with my mom, form the beginning she has been there cheering me on. That being said it has become my dream to keep playing Field Hockey for as long as I can. 

Every time I walk onto the field I'm not just playing for myself I'm playing for my family and my heavenly father. My Field Hockey career has just begun this year as I started out on the JV squad but, with my great coaches teaching and guiding me along the way that I was able to  be moved up to the Varsity level within my first few months of playing Field Hockey. I quickly fell in love with the midfield position giving me the best of both offense and defense. 

My schooling has always been important to me holding myself to a higher standard with my grades and everything else that I set out too accomplish. All in all I'm very driven and hard working in every aspect of my life, never backing down form a challenge. My career goals would to be to become a Nurse Practitioner because I've found that helping other people brings me joy.
