Personal Statement

I started playing field hockey during my freshman year. I had not played field hockey prior to this time, but I have since feel in love with the sport. I have taken every opportunity to further my skills by participating on the high school team, club team, attending the Futures program, along with various camps. I was fortunate to be selected as a summer coach for a local field hockey camp for ages 5-14 last summer. I found this such an enjoyable experience being able to teach others the sport that is my joy and passion.

I always try to challenge myself both on and off the field. I have continued to take advanced coursework and be an active member of the school community. I am enrolled in the National Academy of Finance, and a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Leadership and Empowerment Clubs. I have received FBLA awards at both the regional and state levels. In addition to field hockey, I am a member of the high school indoor track and lacrosse team. Participation in these sports help me continue to work on my speed and endurance skills and stick to ball coordination. Competition drives me to push harder. I continue to push myself to become the best player I can be. I am so fortunate that I have found a sport that I love that motivates me to better myself.

I am interested in attending a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the area business and law. I am looking to pursue a business or law career.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
