I first started playing field hockey in fifth grade and remember being so lost and confused. I had just moved from Georgia, where field hockey is not played, but I easily fell in love with the sport and the game. I started playing in our local rec league in the fall, joined a field hockey club team a year later, and continued with both programs until high school. I have a strong passion for the game and want to continue to play in college. I love the team environment and working to achieve a common goal. I believe the experience of playing sports at the college level – the winning and losing as a team, the work ethic, and the family-like bond – will give me skills I can use for all the next stages of my life. I’m looking for a school with a strong academic tradition and plan on majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. While I prefer to be in the northeast, I have an open mind and am willing to go anywhere. I would love to be a member of your team. You will find that I am coachable and hardworking and put the team’s success ahead of my own. I am eager to talk to you!
