Anna Eaton '20 Recruiting Profile

Playing in college has been something I have working for since I feel in love with field hockey at the age of 8.  Not only am I looking forward to playing field hockey in college I am even more excited to see what path lays before me in striving for my educational goals.  It is exciting to know that my path continues to be laid before my eyes.  I want to explore a degree in the Teaching or Nursing.  I know that in any field I choose I will approach it the same way I approach all games with excitement and vigor.  I have a positive attitude and solid work ethic!  I am still growing physically and mentally.  This will never stop.  I am a versatile player.  If a coach needs me on defense then I am there with a smile on knowing my job on the field is to stop the opposition from scoring.  If a coach needs me on offensive then I am there with a smile on knowing my team needs a goal or an assist.  I love inserting passes on corners. I love giving my team the best chance to score! I love mid field.  I feel great leaders lead by example and hard work.   I will always strive to be a leader on and off the field.  And I will always respect my parents, my teachers, my coaches, my teammates, and my classmates.  I am a reflection of my parents who have instilled amazing values in me.  And I can not thank them enough for everything they do and continue to do for me.  I have had some extraordinary opportunities.  Just this past year I was asked to represent my High School for the Maryland State Athletic Leadership Conference.  This is a huge honor for the Athletic Director usually selects a senior to attend and I was a sophomore.   2018 season I was selected for 1st team ALL DIVISION and 2nd team ALL COUNTY.  My Athletic Director also just informed me that I am a finalist for the Marines All American Award for the State of 

Maryland.
