After playing Field Hockey for 4 years now, starting off as a player that didn't know a thing about the sport and with very low confidence into now a player who has been on varsity for 3 years straight and who is passionate about playing and teaching the younger players on the team. I’m now on the starting lineup and confident to play any position. After playing with different team throughout the years, I have learned to adapt to my environment and learn from some advanced players. I love to challenge myself to learn new things. Not only is field hockey my passion but school as well. I very much see myself as an "outgoing" or prepared for almost anything type person. I can be shy at first but once I'm comfortable, I become an energetic person which is why I think physical therapy(in the Air Force) is the best career for me. I love getting people back on their feet instead of them not being able to enjoy their life. I would call myself a leader and someone who likes to be tested or put on the spot, just like the field hockey drills. I have the ability to be able to make mistake in front of everyone but then show them I can recover. Being in my school's Air Force ROTC program has turned me from an immature distracting person to a successful leader. I love this program because it keeps me busy on my free time, we do a lot of community work in and outside of our school, which shows how dedicated I am towards my community and others.
