My goal after high school is to further my education. I have figured out that I would like to major in Nursing and I do know that I would like to play field hockey at the collegiate level. Since I was young I have played many sports, from the moment I picked up my field hockey stick I realized how much I loved the sport. I love field hockey because of the strategies and skills you need to have which make the game interesting. Another reason is being on a team and being a team player. While playing center defense I have learned how to anticipate where the opposing team is going and where the ball is heading. Playing in the backfield you can see everything in front of you and help teammates move to different spots on the field. My goal in games is to not let the opponents get by me and stop them in their tracks. Sometimes it is challenging but you always have to be moving and have your head on a swivel. I am looking for an opportunity to further my skills in a game I have come to love.
