While I am still in the beginning of my high school career, I have massive aspirations to play field hockey in college at a high athletic and academic level. My love for field hockey began in the sixth grade during PE class. I found the sport to be fun and became motivated to constantly play my best. In seventh grade, we were able to try out for the middle school team and ever since then I have been hooked. Field hockey fulfills my competitive need to challenge myself and I hope to take my abilities to the next level. My high commitment level shows my willingness to work hard not only as an athlete but as a student. I take my academics very seriously and prioritize school. I consider myself to be an incredibly coachable player, who is driven and will do whatever it takes for my team to be on top. I am constantly working on my skills, demonstrating that when I commit to a goal, I make sure to surpass everyone’s expectation.
