At the young age of four, I first started playing ice-hockey, where I obtained most of my field hockey skills. I then used those skills in seventh grade when I first began field hockey. Since then, ice hockey took the back seat while field hockey became my main priority. For the last three years, I have played at the varsity level for my local high school in Gloucester MA. As a junior, I was voted captain of the team and will continue to be next season. I am always looking to improve my academic and athletic abilities. I am interested in taking my field hockey skills to the collegiate level at a four-year college that will challenge me in all aspects. Academically, I am an honors student challenging myself with honors classes, and a member of the student council. My hard work and desire to succeed would make me a great addition to your team.
