Field hockey not only challenges you to be your best on the field, but also to be your best off the field. Being a very determined athlete, I always push myself to go further for my team, and to be a supportive teammate. Hi, my name is Meaghan Wile and I am in my senior year. I am a three-season athlete, playing field hockey, basketball and lacrosse. Field hockey has always been a passion of mine and I aspire to compete at the collegiate level. To be part of a team is very important to me, the responsibility to perform efficiently not only for yourself, but also for your team is a task that requires determination and effort. I started field hockey when I was in third grade and it has been with me ever since. My sophmore year in high school I was a Varsity starter, and helped push my team to the Sect. Quarter Finals. This year I am a Varsity starter and I plan on continuing to work hard each day to better myself and my teammates. In addition to working hard athletically, I am also taking challenging courses this year, I highly value academics and try to challenge myself by taking beneficial courses. My hopes for a college plan is to find a college that challenges me both in athletics and academics.
