I don’t quit. Despite missing my sophomore year season due to ACL surgery, after being a starter on Varsity as a freshman, I am honored and proud to be named Captain of my high school team next year. Rehab was hard, but I'm back more motivated and grateful than ever to play the game I love with all my heart. I showed up for every practice and every game while I was injured because I love the game and I am a team player, even when I couldn't play. I am stronger than ever now, and was honored to be named as an All-Star player in my League, a “Player to Watch,” and a nominee for player of the year.
I applied my strong work ethic to my rehab, the same way I apply it to other things that are important to me, like academics. I have a 4.1 grade point average because I enjoy learning, I want to know more about the world around me, and I am proud of being a good student athlete. I dream of playing college field hockey and I know I would thrive, and make a great addition to any team.
