I have been playing field hockey since second grade, where I fell in love with the sport. When I was younger my goal was to become a stronger player so that I could be at a level to play for my high-school. Since then, field hockey brought more out of me than I could have imagined.
On the field I am recognized for having explosive speed, being impactful with my positioning on the field, and a strong defensive mind. I work hard and have a competitive heart. I also really enjoy being part of a team where positivity and leadership skills are encouraged and strengthened.
In the classroom, I take great pride in my hard work. I enjoy school and my favorite areas of study are Mandarin, Biology, and Geography. Outside of the classroom I am a Scout BSA and I am known as a leader in my troop. I am currently working towards my Eagle rank. I am known as being compassionate, thoughtful, and a positive role-model by my family.
My goal at this time is to play for and with a strong Field Hockey program at the collegiate level. I want a school that has strong team spirit, a challenging academic program, and provides me real world experiences so I can be a positive contributor to our world thereafter.
