Personal Statement
I have started playing field hockey in eighth grade and have learned so much about the sport in such little time. My first year playing I made my club Striker Star's 2016 Qualifiers team and made varsity as a starter the following year at my high school, Holy Name. I worked extremely hard and devoted almost all of my time training and continue to do so. I am a leader and like to help others who are just beginning to play because I know field hockey can be hard to understand and pick up at first. I am so passionate about playing field hockey and have a positive mentality about all the work that goes into the sport. I look forward to playing in college and continuing to train and practice until then.
