Personal Statement
My name is Harleen Kaur Madahar and I have been playing field hockey since I was 9 years old. I am a dedicated handworker who always tries my best to grow as an athlete and become better. As the years of my playing have grown so did my passion. I enjoy playing this team sport and hope to take it to the next level in college.

- Activities October 2019 – May 2020 | HOSA – Future Healthcare Professionals ● Participated in the HOSA competition for the CPR test. We prepared for this test by learning about human anatomy, physiology, alongside CPR and First aid August 8th – 10th 2020 | Spark – STEAM Project Association of Research and Knowledge Recognizes ● Participated in the Spark hackathon, we were supposed to make that helps with mental health issues in the program. My team and I made a website that reminds people with mental health issues to go to their appointments and take they medication. The website also consisted of work outs that we had animated for the users. Although we did not win, I really enjoyed it and I took away lots from it. October 29th 2020– January 19th 2021 | MCWT – Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation ● Participated in a website design competition for middle and high school girls of Michigan. The theme for competition was to create a website comparing three aspects of your life and how the contrast (or similar with) your grandparents era. The aspects that I had compared with my grandparents were education, opportunity, and field hockey.
