Looking ahead into college, I hope to be successful both academically and athletically. I have played sports my entire life, and have been a three sport varsity athlete every year of high school. Picking up field hockey coming into my freshman year gave me a whole new outlook that if I wanted to reach a top level in a sport I had never played, I would need to work harder than ever. That got me moved to varsity in the middle of my first season, and it has by far become my favorite sport, even over the ones I have played forever, basketball and softball. In both school and sports, I have extremely high standards for myself, and push myself to be the best. I like to surround myself with people that will challenge me and make me do better. I would consider myself very humble, I don't ever boast about any of my talents or skills, but I am very proud of all I have accomplished, but more than that just the person that sports have made me. I have gained a lot of confidence and leadership skills being on a team with younger players. And throughout all of my life I would say I always lead with kindness and respect. I know in my life there have been some struggles that not many people know about, so I see the same thing for others, and use my knowledge to help them in any way I can. Wherever I do end up, I think the most important thing about me is I am an extremely hard worker, and I will always do what I can to improve.
