Hi, my name is Zennah, it's a pleasure to meet you!
I've been playing Field Hockey for 9 years and it's been my dream to play in college since the 7th grade. I've been involved in sports for as long as I can remember. I'm a dedicated team player, and I never back down to difficult tasks. I'm honest to a fault and I wear my heart on my sleeve and will do anything to make my team and teammates better. I'm constantly communicating on the field and helping my coaches when I can. Winning the 2019 D1 Michigan State Championship taught me how to win at that level and exactly what it takes and how much work is needed. I owe my coaches everything in teaching me this. Breaking my foot this year has taught me one thing: you truly never know what you have until it is taken away from you. I'm hungrier and more determined than even before to get healthy and play with even more passion and energy than I did before. My parents always taught me to get a good education and get a good job and make a difference in someone's life - including my own. I'm starting to see the value in that advice as I did get my first job this summer. It's made me a little more independent and responsible. I'm not a flashy student but I know that I need to work hard and earn what I want. I'll never shy away from any challenge. I look forward to playing at a level where I will be faced with many challenges, successes, and memories.
