Phoebe Yoder '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Im Phoebe! I began playing Field Hockey the summer before 8th grade, prior to that I played club Volleyball from 5th through 8th grades. In my first season of high school Field Hockey I was one of four Freshman to make JV and started 80% of the games.  Upon the encouragement of my Field Hockey coach I tried out for the Lacrosse team and made JV.  I started all of the games and took 75% of the draws.  Although I enjoy both sports, Field Hockey is my passion, which is why I am pursing competing at the college level. I want to work hard to become a better player and positively encourage my teammates.  My club team, Gateway Field Hockey U16, has elevated my skills through fierce competition. I am looking to join a team which will allow me to contribute my skills, encouragement, and knowledge of the sport while furthering my education in the field of Nursing.
