Ever since I was little, I have had a strong passion for playing field hockey.  Growing up it was always a goal of mine to be able to be part of a collegiate level field hockey team.  Specifically a team that will best value my potential, showcase my skills, and be able to connect and communicate both on and off the field.  

I am an excellent candidate for a team because I have a strong drive and dedication for field hockey.  I often find myself playing better under intense pressure and high-level games.  I show leadership skills on any team I find myself playing with, no matter how big or small the role may be. I have a good sense in being able to visualize the field and be able to read a situation or play on the field, making me one step ahead. What sets me apart from other recruits is that I’ve had to work hard to make the top level teams for my club, not ever having that one leg up in terms of other players. I also have been lucky enough to experience many different environments of athletics, from trying different sports to playing on multiple different teams of field hockey and camps and having the privilege to play globally.  I do very well in school, I am proud to say I am a straight ‘A’ student with an above average GPA which can set me apart from many recruits.

I am very tough on myself, but I see it as a blessing in a way that makes me a stronger, more hard-working player for any team I am able to participate on.
