My name is Alison Beaulieu, but I prefer to go by Ali. I am seventeen years old, and am a senior at New Hampton School. New Hampton School is a private preparatory high school in New Hampton, New Hampshire. NHS is known for its strong athletic program, as well as academic program.
I have played on recreational, school and club field hockey teams for eight years now. I am considering playing DII or DIII college field hockey. I believe my current school is a fantastic gateway to my future field hockey, and life goals given it's robust athletic and academic history.
My preferred position on the field hockey pitch is defense, however I have played midfield (and on a rare occasion forward), as well as goalie and kicking back. I believe my versatility on the field is what makes me different from other recruits. I love the game, and will do my best at whichever position I'm placed at. As much as I love helping defend the goal, I also enjoy a good opportunity at scoring on a penalty corner.
I have been a high honors student for the last three years. I study hard and play hard. I also play softball in the spring, and am experienced at both short-stop, third base and pitching positions. I am fairly athletic, and a confident individual on and off the field.
Although I’m uncertain as to what I want to study in college, I am leaning towards international relations and criminal justice field. For now, I’m looking forward to my senior year at NHS. Thank you for taking the time to preview my profile.
