Daniela Valli '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniela Valli (you can call me Danni) and I am an 18 year old senior at Bridgewater-Raritan High School. I play field hockey as goalie for both my school team and the club team the Mid-Jersey Knights which is run by Rutgers. I joined the field hockey team on a whim as a beginner my freshman year, and I played that season half-time goalie, half-time field and quickly fell in love with the game and the role of goalie. I have been starting Varisty for 2 years now. I love working with and getting to know other people, and it’s one of my favorite things to be part of a team. I am in the ASL and Film clubs at my school, which have proven to be positive learning experiences for me that helped me start to branch out and reach a bit out of my comfort zone. Science and math are my forte, and I have a passion for the sciences in general (I can’t decide on one!). I am so excited to continue playing in college and have a whole new experience with this sport.
