Sierra Giuliano '19 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Sierra Giuliano and I am a Senior at Delsea Regional High School in Franklinville, New Jersey. I am a four year varsity letter earner. I am a very versatile player, so I often switched between all the positions as my coaches needed me. Currently, I am the starting varsity center-mid. We just finished our conference undefeated and we are repeat conference champs. I get many compliments about my stick work from my coaches and teammates. I am a striker for my teams on corners as well. I have a very hard drive and reverse shot. I see the field very well and I am a play maker. I like to be a leader for my teams. I play field hockey because I love the sport. I am always looking to improve and I believe hard work reaps the most benefits. 

     I have been playing for club teams since I was in sixth grade. I am currently playing for the South Jersey Edge Field Hockey Club. You can find me playing in many recruiting tournaments with my club team all year round. In the spring, I play in the U19 Junior Premier Outdoor League (JPOL) with my club. During the winter season, I go to many indoor tournaments. In the off season, I also play with my high school team in some recreational leagues at Total Turf, and Rowan University.  

    I am a hard worker when I am on the field as well as in school. I take advanced placement classes and maintain A averages. One of my favorite classes is my film class. Film is a hobby of mine and I have produced many short films for my school. I also participate as a volunteer for my church and school. Some of the activities have been helping during the holiday season to make baskets of canned food for the needy and trash cleanups.  I participate in a variety of clubs at my school such as the Connecting Crusaders. We help put on activities for special needs children. I also help run camps at our town's elementary schools, helping teach younger girls the basics of field hockey.
