Katie Brinn '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a small 5’2” but aggressive goalkeeper and team captain for Hammonton High School Field Hockey. I play indoor hockey during the winter for my club team, South Jersey Edge and have participated in college quest tournaments. As a senior of the 2012 graduating class, I currently hold a 5.06 GPA. I am in the top 3% of my class which has approximately 330 students. I realize that I have started the recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue playing competitive field hockey at the collegiate level. I am open to explore opportunities in all three of the NCAA divisions. I’m in search of a fun, safe, and constantly improving college with an outstanding academic reputation. I am ultimately considering dentistry as my career path but am also interested in sports medicine as well as sports marketing. The school that will be most intriguing to me will be one in which there is a good balance between the classroom and the field. Overall, I believe I will contribute several things including leadership and laughter to a team. I know I will be a great addition to a team looking for an influential player that will make a positive impact.
