I started playing field hockey when I was twelve years old and instantly loved it. I joined the middle school team in 7th grade a week into the season, but I became a starting midfielder just after a couple of practices. In 8th grade, I was captain and won team MVP. At Red Bank Regional High School, I played varsity freshman year, which deepened my understanding of the game, and I earned my varsity letter. My sophomore year I was a starting midfielder and I strove to be a leader and team player both on and off the field. This year, my junior season, I was beyond grateful to have been voted by my teammates and coaches as Captain (one of two)! I was the team’s leading scorer for the 2021 season and tied for most assists with my teammate.
At RBR, I take honors, AP, and IB courses and I am also in the Media Production Academy. I have a 4.0 GPA and earned my academic varsity letter as a freshman. Academics are my biggest priority and I work hard to perform well in school.
