As a freshman, and the starting goalie, I learned a lot about myself and field hockey, but I grew the most during my sophomore year because it was the year I dove into club field hockey. My club team made me a better person, player, communicator, and helped me grow life-long friendships. Playing field hockey for both high school and club has made me re-focus on time management, people skills, and how to be a great goalie even with obstacles that stood in my way.
While looking for a program that fits my athletic needs, I also want to focus on my academic education, and the best fit for me, with both in mind. I aim on studying marine biology/sciences and want a program that can accommodate my love for learning alongside my love for field hockey. I believe I could be a great fit for your program both academically and athletically and look forward to future correspondence.
