Gigi Testa '22 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in pursuing Elementary Education/Special Education in college.  I would also love to play field hockey at the collegiate level.  

I have been playing field hockey since Kindergarten for Moorestown's rec. program.  I have been playing for four years for my school program.  I have been playing for five years at the club level.  In addition, I volunteer my time as a helper for the younger grades.  I am passionate about field hockey.  

I am known for my cheerful personality and team spirit.  I love to make practices competitive but fun.  I love leading the cheers and keeping spirits up.  On the field I like to think of myself as a selfless player.  For my school and rec teams I love bringing the ball up the field as a midfielder and connecting with a forward who then scores a goal.  I am also a good flier as I am one of the faster kids.  For my club team I play forward and while I am newer at that position I feel I am learning quickly.  

I received the Elite Camper award at World Camp at Swarthmore College in August 2017.  I was selected as an All Star for the SJYFH All-Star game for the Fall 2017 season.

I am happy to say I do very well in school.  I am an A/B student  and I know how important it is to work hard and do well in school.
