When I picked up a field hockey stick for the first time, I never thought of ever loving the sport as much as I do now. Ever since I was 4 years old, I have been playing ice hockey. I have played club as well as for our very first girls ice hockey team in Randolph that two girls and I created. Hockey has been a part of me for as long as I can remember and coming from that, I found it was an easy transition to the field. During my first year playing field hockey, I found myself a starting position for my high school team in Randolph, NJ as a midfielder and ended with one goal and four assists. With them, we won the conference champion title and advanced to our state section semi finals. I am a hardworking person both on and off the field. Coming into a new sport, I didn’t expect to pick it up as quick as I did, and I always look to improve. After my first high school season, I began playing for Rapid Fire Elite. I play year round in both indoor and outdoor tournaments with them. Field hockey has grown to be much more than a sport, but something I can't ever see myself without. I aspire to play in college and am excited for what the future has to offer.
