Hi, my name is Amanda Gettings and I am a field hockey goalie. I play for Jersey Intensity Field Hockey Club and this year I was the starting goalie on my high schools Varisty team as a Sophomore. My goal is to play field hockey in college. Field hockey is such a fun sport and I want to be able to play it through my life. It has taught me so many life skills and responsibilities that I continue to use. I am a team player and a very hard worker, I am also very dedicated to my team and sport as a whole. I believe that my work ethic makes me different from everyone else, I will keep going until I get it right. I am also a multi-sport athlete and I have been a student-athlete my whole life.
