Strength, courage, and commitment are traits that have driven me since a young age, but especially over the past year.   I've learned to always keep growing and push myself to achieve my goals, both academically and athletically.  These goals include being successful both in the classroom, as well as on the field.  Having the courage to make changes, even when it means stepping out of my comfort zone, has brought so many new opportunities to grow.  Being able to succeed in an intense training environment and earn the opportunity to play overseas are some of the rewards of challenging myself.  Developing a never quit mindset has helped me work toward my goal of being the best player and teammate I can be.  I will continue to work toward my goals and surround myself with student-athletes that share the same vision for their futures as I do.  I've known for a very long time that playing collegiate field hockey was something I absolutely wanted.  I'm determined now more than ever to achieve that goal and keep growing and challenging myself so that I can make a positive impact on my college team.
