Emily Blemings '21 Recruiting Profile

I know that I might not be the best on the team but I am always looking to get better at my skills. Field Hockey isn't just a sport for me, it's a lifestyle. A team should be a second family. I am a 3 year varsity player and also in AP courses, and honors courses that my high school has available. My inspiration for this sport came from my sister. She played field hockey all through high school and college and I plan on doing the same. I feel a valuable player has to be fearless, aggressive, and coach-able in what he or she does. I feel I fit all of these components as a player. As a student athlete you have to put school first but when you commit to a team you are putting on another obligation.
